Tiger admits his rehab hasn't been easy...
Eldrick has started rehab on his knee after surgery, and it has been tough. Meanwhile, the PGA Tour, life without Mr. Woods has meant a) chances for others to win, and b) low ratings for TV coverage. FYI...Tiger's official career earnings are now over $82 million...
Red Sox look for Ortiz' production...
With Manny gone, its now up to Kevin Youkilis (left) and David Ortiz to provide the power hitting for the Boston Red Sox. And so we'll see how the Sox do...
Change of thought...
Despite missing the cut at the PGA Tour event in Reno, Nevada, Michelle Wie has shown she is splaying decent golf as of late. Now 18 years old and in her 2d year at Stanford, she has banked about $30 million, with most of it coming mainly from endorsements. Those sponsors have been left hanging, due to her lack of success. Is it fair to chastise Michelle Wie at such a young age? Were the expectations too high? Did she bring them upon her own self? Good questions to ponder, while we wait to see if she will have to go to Q-school just to PLAY Tour events next season...
TOTAL WASTE OF TALENT.
John Daly could've been as good as Tiger Woods, if he had kept the mental focus and desire that Eldrick holds every moment of his career. Instead, all we see is a total loser who has completely wasted away his abilities that so, so many others would kill to hold.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ GREG LARSON... Greg Larson is well-known for his writing prowess...his years writing as a columnist are among the best ever. Here, he shares his thoughts...
The University of Georgia is spending two
million dollars, some of it donated, on a statue garden for its storied
former football coach Vince Dooley.
Dooley won 200 games and a national title in
his tenure as Georgia head coach. Dooley's statue is 14-feet high and very
impressive.
After Dooley stepped down as football coach he
remained as athletic director at Georgia. He endured some skirmishes with
new administrators and was finally nudged out all together.
Dooley's $2 million statue garden will be
located at the Georgia football practice grounds some 1500 meters from
Sanford Stadium. Nice statue but who is going to see it?
If you're going to spend that kind of money
for a statue garden for a guy who won 200 games and a national crown it
belongs, not a mile down the road, but at the stadium where 95,000 fans
can see it each week.
